If you’d rather keep your feet nearer the ground why not try mountain boarding on the steep slopes of the Marlborough Downs or enjoy long distance horse rides to the coast.
For those who seek thrills of a different kind there is plenty of paranormal activity in the area especially in Devizes where the town has been featured on Most Haunted and Derek Acorah’s Ghost Tales. Devizes is a hidden gem with a beautiful market place surrounded by superb architecture, and individual shops and alleyways.
During the summer months, magnificent formations of crop circles tend to appear on the landscape. Most frequently near the sites of ancient monuments that are themselves considered to be built on the sites of powerful energies.
