Kennet in the heart of Wiltshire has some of the most spectacular scenery in Southern England and is less than 2 hours from London. 

It is on the one hand an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, “Quintessential England” with sleepy villages and the World Heritage Site of Avebury - but on the other offers a multitude of things to do that are action packed.

The old and new blend perfectly in this unique part of England with 6,000 year old stone circles where ancient man once worshipped sit easily with the vibrant market towns of  Devizes and Marlborough.  Marlborough with its Café Culture and interesting boutiques has one of the widest high streets in Europe.
Famous for Marlborough College which educates royalty and children from all corners of the world the town itself has gained a cosmopolitan reputation .

There is plenty to do to attract those who seek something different.  Take to the skies with micro-lighting, paragliding, freefall parachuting and gliding.  If you’d rather keep your feet nearer the ground why not try mountain boarding on the steep slopes of the Marlborough Downs or enjoy long distance horse rides to the coast.

For those who seek thrills of a different kind there is plenty of paranormal activity in the area especially in Devizes where the town has been featured on Most Haunted and Derek Acorah’s Ghost Tales.  Devizes is a hidden gem with a beautiful market place surrounded by superb architecture, and individual shops and alleyways.

During the summer months, magnificent formations of crop circles tend to appear on the landscape.  Most frequently near the sites of ancient monuments that are themselves considered to be built on the sites of powerful energies.
