Steeped in history, the district has some of the most important Neolithic monuments in the country and five of Wiltshire’s eight White Horses can be found in Kennet - with so many important Neolithic monuments it is no surprise that there are many museums and heritage centres in Kennet.

The bustling market towns of Devizes and Marlborough are focal points of the district, or venture further a field and discover the hidden villages where traditions are still very much alive.
